At Parcel+Post Expo 2025, OMNIC once again took the stage — not just to showcase technology, but to share a new vision for the industry’s future.

This year, Julia Lockman, Junior Partner at OMNIC, delivered a keynote titled “The Noise of Innovation: From Innovation Partner to Intelligence Partner.”

“Today, our industry doesn’t lack innovation — it lacks meaning,” said Julia Lockman.

“True progress begins not when we build more devices, but when we connect them intelligently — through context, standards, and trust.”

Her talk explored how the parcel locker industry is moving beyond “hardware battles” and entering an era where intelligence, data, and interoperability define success. Drawing on OMNIC’s 13 years of global experience, she revealed three key insights shaping this transition:

  1. Product–Market Fit is Contextual — solar, battery, or grid power isn’t about trends; it’s about efficiency in real environments — from the heat of Saudi Arabia to Italy’s historic city streets.
  2. Interoperability and Standards Drive Scalability — open ecosystems reduce costs, simplify integrations, and accelerate growth.
  3. The Open Ecosystem Always Wins — carrier-agnostic networks deliver 20–40% faster ROI and stronger trust through shared infrastructure.

Lockman emphasized that OMNIC’s transformation from Innovation Partner to Intelligence Partner is more than a rebranding — it’s a commitment to help clients design smarter, context-aware systems that learn, adapt, and serve both people and cities.
